⚒️What is your role in building or improving Etuity Core?

As the Tech Lead for a cross-functional team, I’m responsible for guiding the end-to-end delivery for part of our greenfield project, Core. My role involves ensuring the quality and reliability of our software, driving timely and consistent delivery, and fostering effective collaboration—both within the team and with our stakeholders. I actively resolve bottlenecks, and work to align our team’s goals and technical decisions with the broader strategic direction of Instech.

🤝Can you share a moment or project where teamwork helped move Etuity Core forward?

We had a key deadline last Friday that required cross-team collaboration. Everyone pulled together, and we delivered a successful demo. It felt like a significant win, especially knowing we had set ambitious goals and met them.

🚢How do you see your work helping users or the wider marine insurance community?

My team is responsible for developing a new system for handling Claims. The new solution is designed to streamline processes by reducing manual effort, guiding users through intuitive workflows, enhancing collaboration, providing clear visibility into tasks, and offering easy access to relevant data.

💡In what ways do you share knowledge with your team or others at Instech Solutions?

I take a collaborative approach to knowledge sharing, remaining approachable and available for team discussions, actively bridging the gap between domain experts and developers, and fostering alignment through well-structured planning sessions, syncs, architectural reviews, workshops, and demos.
