Two days of pilot testing with domain experts – A major step toward launching Etuity Core
Only two months remain until our first major milestone: the launch of the MVP (Minimum Viable Product) of Etuity Core.
Reaching this point has been an exciting journey shaped by hard work, strong collaboration, and shared commitment. Our development teams have worked intensively to build the platform, while our Business Analysts and UX Designers have brought deep insight into the marine insurance domain. Throughout the process, close cooperation with domain experts has been essential to continuously review, validate, and refine the solution, ensuring every part of the system is developed in line with real industry needs.
What more can we do to secure a strong delivery?
As we approach the first release, we asked ourselves an important question: What more can we do to ensure a successful launch?
The answer was clear: bring together domain experts from across the marine insurance value chain for a full pilot test.
Over two intensive and highly productive days, experts from multiple disciplines joined forces, including:
Underwriting
Business Operations
Claims Handling
Accounting
Data Warehouse / Reporting
Together, they reviewed the entire end-to-end process in Etuity Core, from start to finish. Each team validated functionality within their own area, tested handovers between departments, and assessed how the complete workflow performs as one connected system.
What these two days delivered
The pilot test has given us tremendous value:
✅ Confirmation of direction
We received strong validation that Etuity Core supports the MVP process across departments and is moving in the right direction.
✅ Clear improvements for MVP
We identified functionality that should still be improved before the MVP release.
✅ Stronger prioritisation after MVP
We are on the way to creat a clear list of post-MVP priorities, based on business criticality and needs from each domain area.
✅ Better usability and user experience
We uncovered opportunities to further improve usability and user experience across the platform.
Thank you to our domain experts
A huge thank you to all domain experts who put daily responsibilities on hold for two full days to participate, challenge, test, and contribute with valuable feedback.
The domain experts’ involvement ensures that Etuity Core meets expectations, reflects real operational needs, and is ready for the marine insurance market.
What happens next
All findings are now being analysed and structured into a clear, well-founded development plan for the coming weeks and beyond.
Our shared conclusion is simple:
This was the right thing to do and highly valuable.
And it is something we will continue to repeat on our journey toward a complete and market-leading platform.
